I named this piece “After…” to encourage us to think about the concept of “After…”. After the battles and after the loss of most of the freedoms of our Native American people. This horse to me symbolizes the strength and pride of the people and the Horse Nation. The golden light shines on him while the storm clouds linger over the landscape and mountains.
