A Wild Horse herd (family) ascending a canyon trail. It was early in the morning. I was standing by the front fender of my parked truck when quietly a Stallion climbed up out of a large ravine across the road from me. As he kept an eye on me a herd of horses amassed behind him. I hadn’t moved. Again quietly he stood guard while the herd crossed the road ahead of me but really close. When all had crossed the Stallion took one last look at me and trotted to get ahead and to lead the herd up this ravine. Capturing this was emotional.
