A Blackfeet medicine hat horse with war pony symbols running through snow by Brady Willette

Snow Warrior

Since “Snow Warrior” is a Blackfeet horse painted for my project in the shadow of Glacier National Park in Montana, I decided to create this art running through deep snow. “Snow Warrior” is a Medicine Hat and a descendant of a famous horse named “Warrior” who can be seen at the Charles Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT. He was painted by Marie Gussman with help from her husband Andrew. “Snow Warrior” was photographed running in a round pen. As with all of my art of the War Ponies I removed the backgrounds and painted in new clean ones.
