After photographing this War Pony on the Standing Rock Reservation and returning to my studio I finished this art. I asked Lisa Yellow Luger who painted him what she thought would be a good title. She suggested “Wasu Hinan Tho - Blue Hail Storm”. Great name for her interpretation for a Horse Mask. Hail storm was one of the many symbols of power painted on warrior War Ponies.
